How it all started...

It all started back in summer of 2000, when I got sick of driving my parents 1988 Chrysler New Yorker 4-door and wanted to buy something that would suite me better.  So I started looking at the cars that fit my budget and very soon I came up with a list of cars I would like to own. The list consisted of the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Trans Am, Pontiac Grand Prix and Chrysler Sebring.  After test driving all of the cars, I discovered that insurance prices were limiting me to  the Chrysler Sebring or Pontiac Grand Prix.

While I was looking around for those cars, I came upon this dark green Ford Thunderbird with tinted windows. I was amazed with how this car looked inside and out, and asked myself "how come I never looked into a Thunderbird?"  Everything was just the way I wanted but the car sold fast and I was once again searching, but this time for a Ford Thunderbird.

A couple of weeks later in the dealership I was employed at, a champagne Thunderbird was traded in. I took a look at it and knew this was going to be my car. It was fully loaded from leather to moon roof, power everything, and low miles.   One thing that amazed me was that the engine was a 4.6l v8, which I never knew they where equipped with.  A couple days later, I was the proud owner of a 1994 Ford Thunderbird.

While browsing the internet, I came upon website and looking through the readers rides section, I saw some of the modified rides.  I decided that I am going to make my car the most unique Thunderbird out there.  So then the craziness begun and looking at it right now, there seems to be no end to it.

This car has been a big journey and a huge part of my life.  Even though sometimes I regret not selling it, I am determined to have this car remain in my possession forever. Sometimes I joke that when people start flying cars in future, I will still drive my Thunderbird and be one of those rare people that can say: “This was my first car and I still own it.” Hopefully my kids will develop the same passion as me and be proud of it as much as I am.

I would like to thank my friends and family for on going love and support!
